Anthony J. Pregony, Jr., President and Founder of A & C  Financial Services, a subsidiary of The Pregony Group, L.L.C., has worked in various areas in the corporate world.  Before his life in the corporate world, he started in retail at an independent retail shop.  As an associate, he put initiatives in place that saw the shop grow in revenues.  From there, he went on his own to start a small bookstore that grew each year before he had to close it down. 

 

From there he went on to work World Access where he worked in various capacities before ending up in the company’s finance department working in the Cash Management division.  He was responsible for daily cash flow statements, accounting journals, and had the responsibility and improving of wire transfers between companies bank account and for vendor payments.  During his tenure at World Access, he successfully negotiated a $40,000.00 contract with VeriSign, Inc. to process the company’s internet credit card sales.  Furthermore, he worked with the I.T. department in implementing the conversion to the company’s website.

 

Upon leaving World Access he had a successful career at Capital One Financial Services.  He was responsible for daily reconciliations for funding, accounts payable, payroll, recoveries, suspense, and securitization accounts.  Furthermore, he analyzed income statement and balance sheet activity and provided commentary to Sr. Leadership, processed daily cash and accrual journals to both the balance sheet and income statement. Embracing the core values of attention to details, dependability, and dedication.  He was often called upon to train new associates, from entry level to management, on the job functions within the department.  

 

Anthony holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.
